Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy explains how DR-I S.R.L. ships products purchased on dr-i.tech (the 3DR-I store). All orders are dispatched from our warehouse in Vercelli, Italy.

1. Processing Time

  • Catalogue items in stock: dispatched within 1–3 business days of order confirmation.
  • Catalogue items printed to order: dispatched within 3–7 business days, depending on the product. The estimated dispatch window is shown on each product page.
  • Custom orders: lead time is communicated and agreed by email at the time of quotation. Custom orders are not handled via the standard checkout (contact info@dr-i.tech).

Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, or Italian public holidays are processed on the next business day.

2. Shipping Times (after dispatch)

Estimated transit times once the order has been handed to the carrier:

These are estimates from our carriers and not guaranteed. Delays caused by carriers, customs, or force majeure events are outside our control.

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs depend on your destination and the shipping option you choose. The rates that apply are the ones shown on the Site, and the exact shipping cost for your order is always displayed at checkout before you confirm and pay.

Where free shipping is available, it is shown on the Site at the time of your order.

4. Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you receive a confirmation email with the carrier name and tracking number. You can also view tracking information from your customer account.

5. Customs, Duties and Import Taxes

For shipments outside the European Union, the recipient is responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or carrier handling fees imposed by the destination country. These are not included in the price you pay at checkout.

6. Failed or Delayed Deliveries

If your shipment is significantly delayed or marked as undelivered:

  1. Check the tracking status first.
  2. If the issue is not resolved, email orders@dr-i.tech with your order number.

We investigate within 2 business days and coordinate with the carrier on your behalf.

If a parcel is returned to us due to incorrect address provided by the customer or repeated failed delivery attempts, we will contact you to arrange a re-shipment at the customer's cost.

7. Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit, email orders@dr-i.tech within a reasonable time of the expected delivery date (typically within 14 days), with your order number and photos of any damage. We will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.

8. Pickup at Our Warehouse

Local pickup at our warehouse in Vercelli may be available upon request. Contact orders@dr-i.tech before placing the order if you wish to arrange pickup.
