Our Story
2021 · The Beginning
The origins of DR-I trace back to 2021, when the team identified a growing problem in research laboratories: the absence of integrated digital systems comparable to the ERP solutions of the manufacturing world.
Most labs still relied on disconnected spreadsheets, manual processes, and non-standardized workflows — while generating massive amounts of valuable data.
2022 · Foundation
In May 2022, the project was selected at a regional Call for Startups in Campania — providing the resources to formally establish DR-I S.R.L.
The year focused on defining the core architecture, building first prototypes, and validating the model with early partners.
2023 · Recognition
DR-I joined the Startup Geeks incubation program and became part of Confindustria's Blockchain Innovation initiative, achieving formal status as an Innovative Startup under Italian law.
2024–2026 · Product
Full-scale development of the proprietary platform — designed to automate generation, structuring, and FAIR compliance of research data, integrating with external databases and laboratory systems.
Public release is planned for 2026.
